LANDSCAPES

As the pervasion of AI imagery and post processing in excess reshape both the vision of artists and the expectations of viewers, the line between digital art and photography becomes increasingly indistinct. My ideals may not align with those of others, but it’s important to me that my final images represent scenes as I experienced them in the field. While all raw data needs processing to overcome the inherent limitations cameras have in translating such moments, I endeavour to keep a light hand that steers far away from the fantastical computer generations that can sully our view of the natural world. After all, nature needs little assistance β€” the places and moments are out there for the patient and persistent.
